The COT Charts are published by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC). The CFTC definition of the COT reports: "The Commitments of Traders (COT) reports provide a breakdown of each Tuesday’s open interest for market reports in which 20 or more traders hold positions equal to or above the reporting levels established by the CFTC." This report is released each Friday at 19:30 GMT(15:30 EST) and shows information for that Tuesday's futures positions(3 days before). Each currency is directly quoted versus the US Dollar and the reports can be used to view trader/speculator sentiment on the currencies quoted.
